On 14 November 2025, all staff members from the Confucius Institute at the University of Hull participated in the university’s Cultural Festival.
Student groups from various countries and regions presented the richness of global cultures through distinctive music, dance, and traditional costumes. The Confucius Institute contributed performances including Tai Chi fan dance, Dunhuang-inspired dance, and a traditional Chinese costume show. Through elegant movements and the beauty of traditional attire, these performances vividly showcased the charm of Chinese culture and conveyed the philosophy of “harmony in diversity”.
The performances were warmly received by the audience. More than 500 students and staff experienced the beauty of traditional Chinese arts up close, effectively promoting cultural exchange and mutual understanding among diverse communities.
