From 16 to 20 May 2026, the Confucius Institute at the University of Hull (CIUH) organised the 2026 HSK (Chinese Proficiency Test) examinations for Levels 1, 2, 4 and 6, with a total of 11 candidates taking part.
The tests were held at both the University of Hull and its teaching site at Howden School. Eight of the candidates were from Howden School, reflecting the close collaboration between the Confucius Institute and local secondary schools in supporting Chinese language teaching and examination opportunities.
The examinations ran smoothly across both venues. CIUH remains committed to providing professional and standardised Chinese proficiency testing services for local learners, supporting the continued development of students’ Chinese language skills.
Looking ahead, the Confucius Institute will continue to strengthen cooperation with its teaching sites and further support the integration of Chinese language teaching and international Chinese language examinations.
